Cyrod Technologies Inc., is a fabless semiconductor company focused on the 8051 microcontroller unit
(MCU) market offering innovative solutions for both new designs as well as drop in replacement parts
to many of the industry's standard devices. In addition, Cyrod announced in October 2006 that it had
completed an agreement with Ramtron International Inc., to acquire Ramtron’s 8051 production MCU
business (formerly Goal Semiconductor).
Cyrod continues to aggressively add new innovative products that push existing performance and price levels. Cyrod operates two Technical Support Centers; one at its Canadian headquarters and one in Europe. The company has offices and a network of manufacturers’ representatives and distributors throughout the Americas and Europe.
